Why This Site Exists

Arkansas law makes many nonexempt public records available, but each stage of a case lives in a different system. The Izard County Sheriff's Office creates the county booking record, takes the booking photograph, and operates the current roster and 48-hour release roster. The Arkansas Department of Corrections publishes a separate offender search for people in state custody. Arkansas courts hold filings and final case outcomes. When an online view is too short or does not contain the needed document, a public-records request through the sheriff's contact route is the next step. This site organizes those official sources and explains what each one can and cannot show. No official record or photograph is stored here.
